Wild burros are just as much a part of the American West as wild horses, yet they are often overlooked. Intelligent, resourceful, and deeply bonded to their herds, they have roamed these landscapes for centuries. But like wild horses, they face constant threats—roundups, habitat loss, and removals that push them toward an uncertain future.

Their resilience is unmatched, but they cannot fight for their freedom alone. They deserve the same recognition, protection, and respect as any other wild species. It’s time we give them a voice.
