Stand proud wild horses with strong spirits in man-less land where you belong. Untamed, you gallop on land through the sea. Forever wild. Forever free
Iām Monica Ross, founder of Wild Horses Lives Matter, photographer, horse lover, and advocate for our wild horses. I created WHLM, a 501(c)3, to be a voice for our wild horses through my photography, videos, and in-person observations for protecting their freedom and their land. I have a vision to spread the word through education while introducing you to the herds and telling their real-life stories; stories of freedom and stories of loss. I want to show you what our wild horses and their herds face daily and why it matters. My goal is to keep our wild horses wild and free on our public lands and to find sanctuary or adoption for those who lose their freedom.
Please help me continue
Advocate for Stronger Protections: Work with policymakers to promote humane and sustainable management practices that prioritize the welfare of wild horses and burros.
Raise Public Awareness: Develop educational campaigns to inform communities about the challenges these animals face and the importance of preserving their natural habitats.
Support Rescue and Rehabilitation: Collaborate with local rescue groups and conservation experts to provide immediate aid and long-term solutions for affected animals.
Please stand with me, together we can make a difference for our wild horses to be their voice.
